Wilson Area CTC Receives Prestigious Award!

We are thrilled to share that our coalition was celebrated yesterday at the prestigious Love and Light Tour Honoree Recognition Ceremony in Philadelphia!
The Wilson Area Communities That Care Coalition was proudly selected as one of the esteemed honorees by the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, among just 10 remarkable organizations in the region.
During the ceremony, Jacqueline C. Romero, U.S. Attorney, graciously acknowledged our coalition’s impactful endeavors, particularly highlighting our partnership with her staff to assemble weekend meal bags for Wilson students. We were deeply honored by her recognition and commendation of the vital work our coalition is undertaking.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who attended, including Laura Samson (Chair), Ellen Denizard (Vice Chair), Dr. Alex Mindler, Rev. Jamie Edelman, and Trina Johnson-Brady (community mobilizer), representing our coalition with pride and distinction.
This recognition underscores the significance of our collective efforts in fostering positive change and exemplifying the values of light over darkness and love over hate. Together, we continue to make a meaningful difference in our community.
