On Wednesday, March 20, over two years of capacity building, board and key leader development, data and resource assessments, and programming research came to fruition with the presentation of the Wilson Area Communities That Care Community Action Plan presentation to an executive audience at St. Luke’s Hospital Easton Campus.
Lamont McCLure, Northampton County Executive, started off the program off with a special message, followed by Linda Grass, President of St. Luke’s Hospital Easton Campus with a welcome. Representatives from Valley Youth House and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lehigh Valley presented their evidence based programs already at work in Wilson. Several Wilson Area CTC community board members also spoke at the event and reviewed sections of the action plan.
Lehigh Valley Live provided in depth coverage of the presentation. https://www.lehighvalleylive.com/news/2024/03/a-survey-found-rising-risk-factors-among-wilson-area-youth-a-coalition-got-to-work.html?fbclid=IwAR0Nst5hjr00SoO6YFtjSlEWWtqj1zM_wRudTR62FlNCY7pbuV1U-18kXUM_aem_AbybDHDFOyhcM2B0457NnjF_foCYGQIAvZxh-ZkSctsxcI7KKWvvX2CYuHMIyniqUJbrvNa-HFOCTh8J3oiDJ9xc
