LINCS Family Center received a $200,000 grant from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) for the Wilson Area Communities that Care Coalition.
Grants were given to local nonprofits including LINCS Family Center and St. Luke’s Hospital.
Senator Lisa M. Boscola mentioned LINCS Family center in a Lehigh Valley News story when announcing the grants, “I am particularly pleased to see the Wilson Area LINCS Family Center receive funding as they continue their efforts to provide resources to raise healthy children and enhance the quality of life for all residents in the Wilson Area School District.”
By using the Communities That Care model, LINCS Family Center aims to address youth risk factors through prevention programs to improve the overall health and well-being of youth.
